![]() It's been such a long time since I've posted a #lastnownext - being a mood reader I don't usually know what I'm going to be picking up next but this one has been calling out to me every time I walk past my bookcase □□ If you've read this one, let me know what you thought in the comments! There were just some things that left me wanting more. I liked the banter and the relationship that developed between the two. I liked seeing Vanessa grow, and stand up for herself, and demand better. Honestly, those were my biggest qualms with the book. ![]() ![]() If the payoff had been worth it, I would feel differently, but when we finally got to the smoochin' and the lovin' and the rest of it, I was like, "Oh, that's it?" Which was kind of a bummer.Īlso, Aiden is kind of mean for like.90% of the book and I didn't love that. HOWEVER, it is also a slow burn (and as someone who loves this trope) I found it to be a little tooooo slow of a buildup. I will say, while it is a thick book, it didn't feel like that. So I know that a ton of people adore this book, and part of me can understand why. ![]() ◾ What is your favorite party-time snack? I love a delicious salsa and dip!
